Understanding the whole process of revelation and compilation of Quran is a requisite to understand the message. We explained the process in a chronological order with reference to Quran and Hadith in the present book which is the first of our series about Quranic Sciences. Hopefully this book will provide adequate authentic information to non-Muslims starting study of Quran. It may also be a good starting point for the academic learners of Quran. I am thankful to my teachers, Manzur Ahsan and Mufti Ashraf Atif who oriented me of Islam.
